Hertfordshire County Council (the ‘Council’) went out to procurement for the provision of a countywide service for high-risk victims of domestic abuse which provides support within safe accommodation and an Independent Domestic Violence Advocacy (IDVA) Service.The approach was based on stakeholder engagement and lessons learnt from existing commissioned services, to procure support within safe accommodation and an Independent Domestic Violence Advocacy Service via two Lots.This Lot 1: Support Within Safe AccommodationThe estimated total value of the Contract is stated in II.1.7) of this notice and is for the initial term inclusive of the approximate value for extensions, together with their possible durations. It should be noted that this figure includes VAT which may or may not be relevant dependent if VAT is applicableFor the avoidance of doubt, the estimated annual value of the Contract will be approximately £2,416,390.80 for Lot 1 and £887,524.80 for Lot 2. As detailed above, it must be noted that this figure includes VAT which may or may not be relevant dependent if VAT is applicable.The Contract is awarded for an initial term of Two (2) years, with the option to extend the Contract by a further two (2) years and then a subsequent one (1) year, so up to a maximum Three (3) further years. It must be noted that the contract requirements will be subject to available financial resources, supplier performance and flexibility to meet changing demands.Due to the nature of the Services provided, any Contract formed as a result of this procurement process shall be executed as a deed.
