Red Kite is seeking to appoint a design and build contractor for its flagship Castlefield Estate Regeneration Project. The project will involve completing the design and constructing high quality residential accommodation together with estate and community infrastructure.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

Red Kite is excited to be moving ahead with the next step of our flagship regeneration scheme to build high quality new homes in the Castlefield area. This will involve the design and construction of approximately 194 homes including appropriate parking spaces for residents and visitors. The homes will mainly be a mix of one and two bedroom apartments including a range of tenure options, as well as some homes for outright sale. This mix will help to regenerate the area and provide affordable options for those people who have aspirations to own their own homes.

This procurement is for a suitable design and build contractor for the construction the scheme under a J.C.T. Design and Build: 2016 Edition, incorporating the latest JCT published Amendments and other amendments required by the Employer.
