A virtual mini Meet the Buyer Event is planned with Orkney Business Gateway to take place on the 24 May 2021 at 2:00 pm. This is as a further step to inform the market that these contracts are to be formally tendered. The virtual Meet the Buyer Event will comprise an introductory presentation to inform the market of our intentions and to explain the procurement process and a short session with Business Gateway advisors and staff from the procurement team to ensure all existing contractors and new ones are signed up to the Public Contracts Scotland advertising portal and know what to expect in advance of the formal tendering exercise commencing 9 June 2021 or thereafter.
The publication of this PIN does not commit Orkney Islands Council to any particular procurement process or to appoint a contractor or to the taking forward of the project.
