Trafford, Rochdale Council and Trafford CCG meet the assessed support needs of some children and adults through a Direct Payment (DP) and/or a Personal Health Budget (PHB). Some of those receiving a DP and/or PHB need additional support to manage this arrangement in full or part. This would involve one of the following:

1. Payroll – A company will manage the finances associated with employment of someone to support the individual receiving the DP and/or PHB. The client will manage all other elements of the DP and/or PHB.

2. Accountancy – A company will manage all finances relating to the DP and/or PHB. This could include payroll and/or the payment for support such as a homecare agency or day support service. The client will manage all other elements of the DP and/or PHB.

3. Fully managed account – A company will manage all aspect of the DP and/or PHB. This could include, but not be limited to, organising and paying for support.
