The London Borough of Croydon is seeking information from potential contractors as part of a soft market testing exercise for the provision of 112 bus shelters within the borough and associated advertising.This documentation outlines the Councils draft strategy and current proposals in terms of key service delivery requirements and projected scope.It should be noted that this is not a call for competition and no information provided in response to this questionnaire will be used by the Council in assessing providers during the procurement process.This is not a call for competition. We are looking for an organisation to provide Bus Shelters and Advertising ServicesPlease register your interest by submitting the questionnaire on the Croydon Tenders Portal: https://in-tendhost.co.uk/croydontenders/.There is no existing service provision at the 112 sites.‘The requirement is provision, installation, maintenance & cleaning of the shelters with associated advertising at locations right across the borough.The council’s preference is for digital advertising but would rely on the expertise of its partner to deliver the maximum return. Digital advertising consent for circa 60 bus shelter sites has been granted but these would be subject to the council’s application process for a new applicant.’

Croydon Council are seeking views through a soft market testing exercise in relation to a forthcoming Bus Shelter and Advertising.Interested providers are invited to respond to the soft market testing information which can be accessed via the Croydon Tenders Portal. The completed expressions of interestquestionnaire should be uploaded no later than 12 Noon on 15th April 2024 and should be returned to the Council using the Croydon Tenders Portal electronic tendering system only.The Council reserves the right to hold interviews for interested organisations that respond to the soft market testing to further support this exercise. Please note the Council retains sole discretion as to which (if any) interested organisations it will invite to soft market testing interview.This is not a formal tender opportunity and there is no guarantee of any tender opportunityarising following this period of soft market testing.
