two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The Association is seeking to appoint a registered firm of Chartered Surveyors to assist with a broad range of procurement and contract support services to ensure delivery of investment and cyclical contracts over the next 5 years (3+1+1). The level and type of support required will vary on a project-by-project basis, in accordance with the individual requirements of projects and associated scale, risk and complexity. Consultants must be able to provide a broad range of expertise and support, covering the following areas: - QS services both pre and post contract – including procurement advice; assisting in specification development; procurement documents preparation; tendering support; tender evaluation and reporting; Bill of Quantities preparation; contract selection; contract preparation; cost reporting and final account preparation; life cycle costing. - Contract administrator duties – as appropriate to the nature of the contract. - CDM duties – to advise on the Association’s responsibilities as Client or to act as appointed Principal Designer
