Plymouth Community Homes (PCH) are seeking bids from suitably qualified and highly experienced contractors for the renewal of roof coverings and associated works.

PCH’s detailed requirements are defined within the specification document (schedule 2).

The works in this Tender includes but is not limited to the following:

Roof renewals (flat & pitched – all materials)

In conjunction with roof renewals the following works will be undertaken as condition requires;

• Chimney works – demolition, repair and/or renewal

• Repair or replacement of structural timbers

• Refurbishment or renewal of fascia, soffits and rainwater goods

• Insulation – upgrade roof insulation to current regulatory standards

• Heating System – Work to relocate and or extend flues penetrating roofs and all works associated.

• Production of Energy Performance Certificate

Additionally, the work includes all necessary repairs to both the fabric of the dwellings and any other areas as directed by the PCH Officer to enable the roof work to be carried out.

Contracts will be awarded according to the most economically advantageous tender.

The contract will be run in accordance with the JCT Measured Term Contract 2016 (MTC 2016).

To assist PCH is delivering the highest quality of service to its customers, the supplier will be required to demonstrate commitment to a customer focused quality service by achieving measurable performance levels throughout the duration of the contract against KPI’s.

PCH reserves the right to award the business in whole to one tenderer, in part to more than one tenderer or to make no award at all.
