The University of Huddersfield intends to implement a single system for student placement management. There are several systems already in use across the institution which will be replaced by the single procured solution. The single system will achieve the following outcomes: - Replace manual placement activity with a systemised process- Deliver a business-wide solution using a centralised system- Deliver operational dashboards to facilitate day to day placement management Implementation of a university wide placement management system to increase the efficiency of the administration of placement opportunities. The following objectives have been identified: - Procurement of a suitable commercial off the shelf (COTS) placement system developed for higher education usage - Development, customisation, and implementation of the system in a phased rollout - Support a standardised process for placement management across the University which includes automating parts of the process

Description of renewals

The resulting agreement will have an initial duration of 2 years during which time the supplier will be required to deliver against all agreed milestones. Upon successful delivery against these milestones, the agreement will extend for an additional 3 years, with the option to extend for 2 further periods of 3 years and 2 years. The maximum agreement term is 10 years.
