Essex County Council (the Authority) is issuing this Prior Information Notice (PIN) as a Request for Information (RFI) to engage with the market and to gather information in order to gain a better understanding of both the capacity and appetite of the market in delivering the proposed services, and to alert the market to a future tender opportunity.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The Authority require a service for the maintenance of owned Containers and Pedestrian Access Steps. The Authority currently owns approximately 500 units of Containers (consisting of 15, 30 and 40 yard specifications), as well as approximately 125 units of Pedestrian Access Steps located across its 21 RCHWs. To maintain these items, the Authority requires adhoc repair and maintenance to ensure that they are compliant, safe, and operable across the waste service.

The closing date for this questionnaire is 12pm (midday) on Tuesday 2nd April 2024.
