The Council is looking to engage with the market for the conversion of semi basement store sheds under existing residential blocks to create 10 flats. Of these 6 will be adapted for wheelchair users (the “Works”).

The Tybalds Estate is comprised of nine residential blocks located in four separate courtyards. The phase 1 work will take place in 3 blocks, Falcon, Blemundsbury and Richbell, all built in 1949 and each located in separate courtyards on the estate which is located in Bloomsbury WC1N.

The project will involve the internal fitout of spaces under three existing blocks including external tanking, replacing all windows and front doors, insulating floors and ceilings, installing internal walls, wiring, and plumbing for bathrooms and kitchens. Internal decorations and floor covering.
