INSURANCE (ESPD 4B.5.1 & 4B.5.2):

It is a requirement of this contract that bidders hold, or can commit to obtain prior to the commence of any subsequently awarded contract, the types and levels of insurance as indicated below:

Employer’s (Compulsory) Liability Insurance = 5M GBP for any one occurrence

Public Liability Insurance = 10M GBP for any one occurrence

Professional Indemnity Insurance = 5M GBP (each & every claim or a 12 year period)

The Bidder must hold a UKAS (or equivalent) accredited independent third party certificate of compliance with BS EN ISO 14001 (or equivalent) or a valid EMAS (or equivalent) certificate OR hold the information contained in the buyer attachment area in PCS-T (file name "Evaluation of ESPD & Contract Notice Additional Information")

HEALTH & SAFETY

The bidder must hold a UKAS (or equivalent), accredited independent third party certificate of compliance in accordance with BS OHSAS 18001 (or equivalent) or have, within the last 12 months, successfully met the assessment requirements of a construction-related scheme in registered membership of the Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) forum OR hold the information contained in the buyer attachment area in PCS-T (file name "Evaluation of ESPD Contract Notice Additional Information") ESPD Health & Safety.

Bidders should note the method of procurement is Design and Build contract using SBCC Design and Build Contract for use in Scotland (DB/Scot) 2016 Edition.

Tenderers should note due to character restrictions within PCS an additional file has been added to PCS-T in the buyer attachment area "Evaluation of ESPD & Contract Notice Additional Information" document
