The City of London is undertaking an Open tender process for a framework for transport services for the City of London School, City of London School for Girls, which is comprised as Lot 1, and the City Junior School (Lot 2) each lot will require a single transport provider to run and manage the transport requirements each lot.

This contract in the most part entails the transport of pupils from the City of London School, City of London Girls for School, and City Junior School. The pupils are of both primary and secondary age. The City may exercise the option to add additional schools or route’s during the 5 year call of contract term.

The City of London Junior School core coach service requirements are expected to be relatively small and split between:

• Occasional PE trips around London and to Grove park

• Occasional longer distance residential school trips (with long notice / lead times), and;

• Regular local trips (museums etc.) and trips to CLS and CLSG sites.

This tendering exercise is being undertaken using the electronic tendering system ‘capitalEsourcing’ (www.capitalesourcing.com). Suppliers will need to register an interest on the system in order to participate and registration is free.

The estimated value given at II.1.5 is for the full duration of the framework/call of contract including the provision of adding additional schools or routes during the contract term. The estimated annual contract value is therefore 2,000,000 GBP. There is no guarantee of minimum levels or value of use from external users.
