Guildford Borough Council is hosting a virtual market engagement event to seek supplier input for an upcoming procurement for the Offsite Highways works relating to the Weyside Urban Village. The purpose of this event is:. Guildford Borough Council to present the high level scope for the works associated with Weyside Urban Village – Offsite Highways.. To raise market awareness of the potential opportunities associated with the upcoming procurement.. To give in an indication of the proposed procurement strategy. . To receive feedback on the proposals presented.Market feedback is encouraged to enable Guildford Borough Council to go to prepare the ITT in an attractive way to suppliers. The event is 31st March 2023 at 11:30am. If you are interested in registering for this event please email neil.scott@guildford.gov.uk with the Title, Offsite Highways Market Engagement, the deadline for registrations is 30th March 2023 midday. Please allow 1 working day for the Teams Invite.

Guildford Borough Council will require a contractor carry out works to implement the agreed highways works in accordance with the approved s278/s38 technical design Further information can be found on the attached PDF giving more specifics by location. The contract is anticipated to be an NEC 4 Option A, following a two stage process.
