Contract to provide eye tests to employees of Leicestershire County Council (LCC) through a corporate eye care voucher scheme. The Service will enable the Council to meet its legislative requirements and maintain a duty of care to staff.

In addition, the contract will need to deliver the ability to order specialist vouchers as needed including safety eyewear, drivers eyecare, lens insert, safety eyewear lens.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to ward notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Provision (Provided Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this to this award.

The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by the 17th March 2025 (8 working days following publication of intention to award). This contract has yet not been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under PSR. Representation can be formally made through the Council's (Leicestershire County Council) complaint procedure.
