Health Education England (HEE - the Commissioner) are putting out this notice as a VEAT with a view to completing a Direct Award. Please note that this is not a Tender opportunity, and that the contracting authority intends to direct award the contract to the following provider Scottish Community Development Centre (SCDC) and Reading University.
Health Education England (HEE) is seeking to commission provider(s) to deliver the training and mentoring element of the Community Participatory Action Research (CPAR) programme, supporting the community researchers and their host organisations. The aim of this procurement is to support and work with organisations working with target communities to recruit, train and mentor Community Researchers to undertake participatory action research in their communities. The findings of the research will be used to support Integrated Care Boards in shaping their priorities/services for marginalised communities in the South East region.

Heath Education England (HEE) believe that Scottish Community Development Centre (SCDC) and Reading University are the only supplier(s) with the requisite expertise, knowledge, capacity and capabilities to deliver this programme following their expertise in designing the pilot programme in which was well evaluated by an external organisation.
The financial envelope for the contract is £975,200
