The value given in this notice is an estimation and indicative only and is based on the
estimated gross development value plus the operation and management for the initial 3 year contract period and extension option of up to a further 24 months for the operation and management.
Proposals exceeding £3,500,000 for the design and build element will not be accepted.

Cheshire East Council (the Council) wishes to install a 5.4 MWp (3 MWp minimum) ground mounted solar PV system on a land adjacent to the In-Vehicle Composting (IVC) facility in Crewe. The Contractor’s responsibilities will include all management, survey, design, construction, commissioning, operations and maintenance of a fully functioning PV system. The Contractor will act as the post contract Principal Designer and Principal Contractor as per the meaning and requirements set out in the Construction Design and Management (CDM) Regulations 2015.

Cheshire East Borough Council will incorporate a standstill period at the point information
on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. That notification will provide full
