Framework for the provision of civil engineering works, not normally exceeding £500k. The works may be for schemes associated with infrastructure, buildings, structures, roads, marine, water supply, sewerage schemes and land contamination. This Agreement will be let in two lots: Lot 1 Northern Area and Lot 2 Southern Area. CPD is establishing this Agreement as a Central Purchasing Body on behalf any public sector organisation in Northern Ireland. The works may include, but not limited to, the following(Scope of Works list): -The construction of roads, footways and car parks -Remedial works to existing roads and sewers -Fencing, gates and perimeter work -Storm / foul drainage / water mains -Mass and reinforced concrete works -Site clearance / building demolition -Earthworks -Marine works including underwater work -Design services -Surveying/geotechnical investigations -Structural steelwork -Playing fields -Minor building works and minor electrical works including street lighting.

The Pan Government Collaborative Framework Agreement for Civil Engineering Minor Works 2019 is being let by Construction &. Procurement Delivery on behalf of any public sector organisations requiring services in Northern Ireland including:- Government. Departments;. Agencies; Non-departmental Public Bodies; Local Authorities; or other Contracting Authority (including subsidised bodies. or other grant recipients). A list of potential organisations is included in the tender documents. . . This Framework Agreement may be. used to progress the Government’s wider social, economic and environmental objectives. A list of potential users can be viewed at https://. www.finance-ni.gov.uk/publications/list-framework-users-pan-government-collaborative-civil-engineering-minor-works. The Contracting. Authority expressly reserves the right to award one, some, all or no Lots; ii. not to award any contract/framework agreement as a result of. the procurement process commenced by publication of this notice or to cancel the procurement at any stage; and. iii. to make whatever. changes it may see fit to the content and structure of the tendering competition and in no circumstances will the Authority be liable for. any costs incurred by Economic Operators or Candidates. Any expenditure or work undertaken prior to Framework Agreement award is. accordingly at the sole risk of the Economic Operator or Candidate participating in this procurement process. This project will be used. to progress the Government’s wider social, economic and environmental objectives. The award criteria are set out in the Instruction. to Tenderers Documents. Economic Operators will be subject to performance monitoring and may be suspended from being able. to participate in the Framework Agreement or may be terminated from the Framework Agreement. Step in clauses may be used, in. accordance with the conditions of the Framework Agreement, to award a call-off to an Economic Operator appointed to another Lot, if the. Economic Operator designated to a particular Lot is not performing satisfactorily. There is no guarantee that a Framework Agreement will. be put in-place as a result of this competition. Furthermore, there is no guarantee that any contracts will be awarded under any resulting. Framework Agreement. No compensation will be paid in the event that the Framework Agreement is not concluded and or the level of. contracts awarded under the Framework Agreement is not as anticipated by the winning Economic Operators. No business whatsoever. is guaranteed under any resulting Framework Agreement or contract indeed there is no guarantee that any framework agreement or. contract will be put in place in relation to this notice. No compensation etc will be paid if a contract or Framework Agreement is withdrawn. for any reason. Economic Operators should take part in this process only on the basis that they fully understand and accept this position
