Norfolk County Council wishes to procure a new Help You Choose careers information website and learning applications system in order to replace and improve our current Help You Choose system.

The council wishes to contract for a web-based solution and the appointed supplier will be responsible for initial set up and data migration (working with NCC); hosting, support & maintenance; software updating and development; technical helpdesk (on referral from NCC) and will provide regular updates/support for NCC core team training and development. Norfolk County Council's Help You Choose team will be responsible for local provider liaison, training and support; maintaining/developing and updating information content and local customer helpdesk queries.

Norfolk County Council wishes to procure a new Help You Choose careers information website and learning applications system in order to replace and improve our current Help You Choose system.

Help You Choose is Norfolk's careers information, advice and opportunities website and online applications system for young people aged 14-19 years (up to 25 years LDD), their parents, carers and teachers and advisers.

Norfolk County Council have commissioned the Help You Choose web-based system for over 10 years to support young people aged 14-19 to make and implement well informed post 16 learning choices.

Help You Choose is extensively used with young people in Norfolk schools and post 16 institutions; maintains a comprehensive directory of post 16 learning provision within the County and annually supports over 6000 online applications to post 16 courses.

The council wishes to contract for a web-based solution and the appointed supplier will be responsible for initial set up and data migration (working with NCC); hosting, support & maintenance; software updating and development; technical helpdesk (on referral from NCC) and will provide regular updates/support for NCC core team training and development. Norfolk County Council is interested in meeting with potential bidders (via Teams) to discuss potential solutions, a draft outline specification that can be supplied to potential bidders, and any barriers to bidding that potential bidders may foresee that might prevent them from bidding. Dates available for meetings are 12th and 14th May.
