two.1.4) Short description

Orbit is seeking to award the successful Contractor with a 2-year contract (with the option to extend for a further 2 x 2-year periods) for the provision of Lift Maintenance, Servicing and Repairs to be delivered across all Orbit regions (East, South, Midlands). In-scope assets are Passenger Lifts, Stairlifts, Through Floor Lifts, Platform Lifts and Hoists. Orbit reserves the right to amend this scope. Any potential Contractor must have the capability to provide the required Services for these assets.

Services shall cover:

• Planned Preventative Maintenance Services (‘’PPM’’): this means maintenance that is performed as part of a regular and scheduled maintenance service programme in order to keep the assets operating correctly and in good working order and to therefore avoid unscheduled asset breakdown and down time, only consumables included; and

• Reactive Maintenance Services (‘’RM’’): means maintenance that is performed as required on a scheduled basis following asset equipment failure and is the procedure of repairing and replacing equipment as necessary in order to keep the assets operating correctly and in good working order, only consumables included; and

• Other requirements outlined within the Specification.
