seven.2.1) Description of the modifications
Nature and extent of the modifications (with indication of possible earlier changes to the contract):
Start date of Lot 1 to Aquilant will be delayed for a 6 month period. New start date - 1st September 2025.
seven.2.2) Reasons for modification
Need for modification brought about by circumstances which a diligent contracting authority/entity could not foresee.
Description of the circumstances which rendered the modification necessary and explanation of the unforeseen nature of these circumstances:
This modification is in accordance with Regulations 72(1)(c)(i) and (ii). This modification is required to allow the contractor a reasonable period of time in which to successfully implement the contract due to unforeseen circumstances with their manufacturer. This could not have been foreseen by the Contracting Authority so a six month remedial period has been granted to the Contractor which will delay the Contract start date for their Lot only, by the same period. If a full compliance is not achieved within this time frame, further contractual actions may be pursued.
