two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The Scottish Fire & Rescue Service requires a unified rostering system for its 8,250 employees (3700 Wholetime, 3700 Retained/Volunteer and 850 Support), who work a multitude of duty patterns. It is conducting pre-market research as part of a rostering system project. A series of research meetings will be held remotely via Microsoft Teams with suitably experienced and capable providers of availability and rostering planning systems suitable for both Wholetime Duty Systems and On Call (Retained & Volunteer Duty System).

An open supplier engagement session will be held w/c 11/04/22, followed by one-to-one sessions between the Service and individual potential service providers between 09/05/22 and 10/06/22 by invitation only for suitably experienced and capable providers of availability and rostering planning systems suitable for both On Call (Retained & Volunteer Duty System) and Wholetime Duty Systems.
