two.1.4) Short description
The Mechanical Measured Term Contract will provide a comprehensive planned maintenance and reactive repair service for the Council’s Mechanical plant and equipment in Corporate sites and buildings (the contract excludes the housing estate which is managed and maintained by Tower Hamlets Homes). This service is critical to ensure that the Council has safe and efficient buildings to serve residents and for staff to work from. The appointed contractor will be responsible for the maintenance contract which will deliver day to day operation servicing, statutory compliance checks and inspections and a reactive breakdown service. Activities would typically include the servicing of gas boilers, maintenance of hot and cold-water systems and the servicing of air conditioning plant. All Council operated buildings are in scope including offices, libraries, children’s centres and day centres.
The London Borough of Tower Hamlets invite interested and suitable companies to attend a bidder briefing session via Microsoft Teams on Thursday 15th April 2021. Engagement sessions with members of the Council’s Facilities Management service will be offered by appointment only and there will be a limit of two attendees per company. Interested bidders will be able to download a presentation pack via the portal. The Council would like to extend this invitation to companies and organisations of all sizes including local SME’s.
Should you wish to book an appointment, please register your interest by Wednesday 14th April 2021 at 1pm stating whether you would prefer a morning or afternoon appointment, and you will be allocated an appointment slot via the portal.
