It is anticipated that the Framework Agreement will be established for a term of 4 years and will allow the Council to award work, depending on the circumstances, by way of direct award and through reopening of competition amongst providers which are party to the Framework Agreement (i.e. by way of a mini-competition). The Council does not currently anticipate that there will be a limit to the number of providers who can be appointed to the Framework Agreement.
A Tenderers’ Information Event (“the Event”) will take place ahead of the Tender opportunity being published. This will be held in-person on Council premises in Committee Room B of the Town Hall in Halifax on 24/03/23 from 10:00 - 12:00 (providers will also be able to attend virtually via MS Teams). In order to attend the Event, providers are asked to confirm their intention to attend either by messaging the Council via the YORtender advert linked below (YORtender ID 68073) or by emailing Shirley Pearson on shirley.pearson@calderdale.gov.uk no later than 17:00 on 17/03/23. Attending the Event is not a condition of Tender, however interested providers are strongly encouraged to do so.
A separate Contract Notice will subsequently be issued and interested providers will be able to Tender for the opportunity in response to this. In the meantime, queries and requests for clarification can be submitted to the Council by providers by sending a message via the YORtender advert referred to above.
