Anchor Hanover has an ambitious Technology Strategy to reshape the way services are delivered through Technology. Including:

- Putting users at the centre of our technology

- Connected properties

- Greater intelligence

We will be seeking partner(s) to help deliver new core capabilities to deliver our technology future, utilising technology to improve the lives of older people and support running an efficient organisation.

We intend to run a tender across three lots, each lot delivering a core technology set upon which new services are built. This tender is not to build out those services in their entirety. The need is for a partner(s) to deliver the underlying platform technologies.

The partner(s) will have a proven track record of delivering the technologies specified. We will have a clear view of the technology components needed but these will not be new to partners. The intent is to use existing proven technology in the marketplace to provide new capability.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The procurement will be seeking an organisation to build an Anchor Hanover mobile app for customers and one for colleagues. A web experience will also need to be made available using the same core development used to support the apps. An important outcome will be a built technology architecture to build new web functionality directly applicable in the mobile app.

The app development is expected to use core components used before by the partner. It is anticipated that these components will be based on open standards with low or no licence overheads.

Four apps are expected to support customer and colleagues on iOS and Android based devices of any form factor.

The base functionality needed as part of the tender will be to support security processes using device biometrics and standard security control mechanisms

As part of the overall architecture Anchor Hanover has an ambition to drive its process through an event driven architecture. It needs to create and manage events and trigger actions in a low or no-code way.

This lot needs a partner organisation to deliver the core event driven and business services infrastructure capability. It will need to handle integration into the existing Anchor Hanover core systems.

The core capability will need to advertise API/RESTful services to allow for clear and simple integration to take place.

The services must provide a proven security capability enabling security of service and data through each integration point.

Anchor Hanover will need a partner to assist the delivery of a new Business Intelligence environment. All the associated process are needed to form a Data Lake with a capability to continuously introduce new data sources.

This capability will also require the functionality to deliver analytics and reports. A set of initial reports will also be required.
