The purpose of this requirement is the purchase of high quality market data relating to the sale of consumer appliances. The data set will cover the Technology and Durables categories in detail. The product sales data provided will give insight into the domestic appliance products market.

The dataset is required to cover the period 2019-2021 (inclusive), and MUST be able to complement and extend the current dataset that covers the period 2009-2018.

OPSS will have full access to the data set following its outright purchase, which is in the form of market research reports on the specific product categories listed below:

• Cooling/Refrigeration,

• Dishwashers,

• Tumble dryers,

• Washing machines,

• Freezers, *

• Cooking,*

Within each of the specific product categories the following datasets will be included:

• Value sales/share,

• Volume,

• Market size,

• Brand information,

• Feature & subsegments,

• Average selling price,

• Feature + brand, Models + feature,

• Model hitlist (based on Panel market only).

• Price classes, *

• Channel split, *

• Online vs. offline split *

* New addition for this 2019-2021 (inclusive) data set.

The supplier will be required to provide ongoing support to ensure the dataset fully reflects our requirements. Data will be replaced on request at no extra charge and the supplier will also provide support for OPSS post purchase, ensuring the data is understood and addressing any queries.
