This would cover four weeks in the summer and a week’s worth of provision in each of the Easter and Christmas holidays.
Following a pilot in 2021 the council is looking to appoint an external provider to take on delivery of the programme for summer and Christmas 2022 with options to extend for up to 5 years subject to satisfactory performance and the availability of ongoing funding for the service.
The Council envisages that from Summer 2022 the delivery model will include a primary provider who will build the new service utilising and further developing the existing arrangements.
