Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council (“RCT”) are seeking to award a contract for a Solar Energy Farm for Design, Build, Operate and Maintain a Solar Farm and Private Wire Scheme (“The Project”), under an DBOM Contract.
The estimated total ground mounted solar capacity is approximately 6 MW. The solar farm will be designed as two separate installations to accommodate:
- 5MW, 33kV export only WPD grid connection
- 1MW, 11kV private wire connection to RG Hospital with no export allowance.
