two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The Service will require advice and advocacy services on all employment law and conditions of service matters, including attending meetings of the Commissioners for SWFRS or its Committees or any meetings as required, and outside Tribunals or Appeals, whenever necessary.

The Service will require advice associated with the National Joint Council (NJC) terms and conditions of service set out in the Gold Book (Principal Officers), Grey Book (Firefighters and Control staff), and Green Book (Corporate Staff).

The Service will require advice and support in reviewing and/or drafting and maintaining policies and procedures.

The Service will require advice and support in the provision of advice regarding pension’s matters to include the Local Government Pension Scheme and Firefighters’ Pension Schemes.
