two.2.4) Description of the procurement at the time of conclusion of the contract:

The scope of the Contract includes insurance cover, brokerage services (where applicable), professional advice, claims management and loss control services for property, legal liabilities and other general(non-life) insurances as required by Glen Oaks Housing Association for a period of 3 years (or periods of insurance)commencing 1.4.2019, with the option to extend by up to a further 2 years at Glen Oaks Housing Association's sole discretion.

Further to the previously advertised Contract Award Notice - Modification and having sought advice, to meet our statutory regulatory requirements as a Registered Social Landlord, these public contracts shall be modified and awarded under Regulation 72 (1) (c) utilising the Modification of contracts during their term “by circumstances Glen Oaks HA could not have foreseen”. Glen Oaks intends to extend the existing Insurance Provision contract due to end 31st March 2024 to the 31st March 2025 with Zurich Ltd who are the current insurance service Provider.
