1.2 Background Information

Exchange Station is a landlord owned building located at:

Tithebarn Street

Liverpool

L2 2QP

The building has offices for a variety of different organisations, with LJMU holding tenancy for the biggest space for Professional Services staff. There is also a foyer with a coffee shop and various meeting rooms, however, this tender exercise is for cleaning services for the LJMU areas of the building only. Please see Appendix 4 - Exchange Station LJMU Floor Plans, to see the space that LJMU colleagues occupy.

The LJMU departments that occupy this building are:

Description of renewals

The preliminary date for the contract to end is 30th September 2027 in line with the lease ending on the areas held by LJMU of the building, however this date may change/be postponed and therefore we may require the cleaning services for longer. We won't know this until closer to the lease end date.
