University of Bradford is developing a procurement strategy for the re-procurement of their Maintenance and Compliance contracts and to appoint external partners for Project Development and Delivery contracts. These 2 areas will be sub-divided as follows:- 1.Estates Maintenance and Compliance contracts split into the categories : Mechanical Services Water Services Controls / BEMS Electrical Services Life Safety Systems Building / Structure Related Grounds and Pest Control 2.Project Development and Delivery: a.Consultancy professional services - Project Management, Architecture, Building Surveying, MEP Engineers, Structural Engineers and Quantity Surveyors - either individual appointments or project based, team appointments b.Principal Building Contractors - for small and medium sized project work – proposed value bands 0 - £500k and £500k to £5 million c.MEP Engineering Contractors individual appointments (able to act as PC for CDM) - all values To assist us in the decision-making process, we are considering our future procurement strategy for framework agreements. The purpose of the exercise is to gain market intelligence on best practice to help inform the most appropriate procurement strategy. Responses are welcome from a variety of consultancy, construction, maintenance and facilities management backgrounds, including SME organisations. All respondents will need to have experience in the specific area they are applying for and should make it clear which is of interest to them in their submission. Please provide the contract values undertaken in the last 3 year period for project development and delivery.
