The BBC is seeking to establish a roster of non exclusive framework agreements for the integration and installation of new and refurbished broadcast production facilities. Systems integrators' responsibilities will vary from project to project; these include project planning, detailed design, installation, cabling, performance and acceptance testing and supply of equipment.

The requirement will consist of three lots: Hardware & Infrastructure, Software & Workflow and Vehicles Integration.

Where there is more than one economic operator, the BBC reserves the right to require a grouping of economic operators to take a particular legal form or to require a single economic operator to take primary liability or to require that each party undertakes joint and several liability.

The BBC reserves the right to involve advisers from its partners to form part of the evaluation team for procurement processes. Any involvement of a third party will be limited to assisting with the evaluation of the technical merit of Tenders only and the final decision as to which Tender is most economically advantageous (by reference to the relevant award criteria) will be made by the BBC. Third parties will only be given access to those parts of Tenders which it requires to enable it to carry out this role and will at no time be given access to any other information of a commercially sensitive nature provided by Tenderers (including pricing information). At all stages of the procurement process, the BBC will take into full consideration the confidential nature of Tenders and non-disclosure obligations will apply to third parties in this regard.
