NHS England, East of England, has reviewed the existing Covid 19 services delivered across the region’s 6 ICBs (currently configured according to geographies of Mid and South Essex, Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, Norfolk and Waveney, Hertfordshire and West Essex, Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes, and Suffolk, North East Essex).
To streamline our commissioning approach and ensure equity, it is our intention to consider moving to commission a single service for the East of England Region. It is our intention for this contract to commence 1st April 2025 till 31st March 2026.
The value of the service provision resulting from this Procurement Process will be:
• £7.54 for administration of each covid 19 vaccination plus an additional £2.50 where seasonal influenza is not given
• £10 per dose administered to housebound patients (this excludes patients resident in care homes)
