Ceredigion County Council is seeking to appoint suitably qualified and experienced consultants to help clear a significant ‘backlog’ of planning applications, and Enforcement cases. The project will involve considering approximately 350 outstanding planning applications, and the assessment of 400 Enforcement cases within year one. Producing delegated and committee reports for consideration. Consultants will also be expected to draft decision notices. The assessment of outstanding Planning Enforcement cases, provision of detailed reports and recommendations in relation to the expediency of proceeding with formal enforcement action or not.

It is expected that the initial backlog of cases is dealt with in year 1, further case work may follow as a result of follow-up work or new allocation of cases but this cannot be guaranteed and the contract is not exclusive.
