This is Prior Notice of Swansea Council's intention to procure Home to School Transport to transport pupils to Primary and Secondary schools within the City & County of Swansea Boundary which is integral to the enabling pupils to access education safely and on time and allows development of social skills and independence. This contract will require potential variations of vehicles which will be confirmed.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

This is an invitation to two provider events to be held at The Guildhall, St Helen`s Crescent, Swansea - Comm Room 5. The events are going to be held on Tuesday 18th February and Tuesday the 25th February from 10am till 12pm. We will provide a very short 15 minute presentation about the project and the remaining duration is for you to contribute as to how we develop the tender to suit you and to let us know what we can do to make this requirement an attractive opportunity to you as providers where we can align and help develop your service during the contracts. We need your direct input and will also be able to provide info on potential funds and grants that you may be eligible for.

Register your company on the eTenderWales portal (this is only required once):

2. Express an interest in the project:

— Click the “ITTs Open to All Suppliers” link (these are the ITTs open to any registered supplier).

— Click on the relevant ITT to access the content.

— Click the “Express Interest” button in the “Actions” box on the left-hand side of the page.

— This will move the ITT into your “My ITTs” page (this is a secure area reserved for your projects only).

— Click on the ITT code. You can now access any attachments by clicking the “Settings and Buyer Attachments” in the “Actions” box.

3. Responding to the invitation to tender:

— You can now choose to “Reply” or “Reject” (please give a reason if rejecting).

— You can now use the “Messages” function to communicate with the buyer and seek any clarification.

— Note the deadline for completion, then follow the onscreen instructions to complete the ITT.

— There may be a mixture of online and offline actions for you to perform (there is detailed online help available).
