The Council provides a free hygiene and nappy collection service to residents who have registered for the service. In addition, the Council has a number of care homes and other establishments which generate hygiene waste and sharps. These other establishments will also utilise the services under this Framework with the added requirement of collection from their premises, as well as treatment and recovery of the material. Carmarthenshire County Council’s other establishments may include, but are not limited to, care homes, children’s centres and day centres.
