Queen’s University Belfast (Queen’s) requires temperature-controlled transport of biological samples (classed as UN3373, biological substances category B non-hazardous) from various sites across the UK, Europe and Rest of World to the Centre for Experimental Medicine (The Wellcome-Wolfson Institute for Experimental Medicine, Queen’s University Belfast, 97 Lisburn Road, Belfast BT9 7BL) within the School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences (SMBDS), and vice versa.The current locations are specified in Appendix 2 – Tender Response (Price). Queen’s reserves the right to expand the list of locations throughout the Contract Period. Queen’s reserves the right to expand the collection and delivery of samples to all Schools/Centres within the University.The conditions for transportation will either be ambient, chilled or frozen samples. When requested by Queen’s, shipments will require temperature monitoring throughout transit.The contract will initially be for 12 months,
