Description
Supply Chain Coordination Limited ("NHS Supply Chain") is developing a Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) Framework. NPWT includes negative pressure pumps, and the associated consumables as used throughout various departments of Acute trusts and in community settings. The framework agreement is for the supply of negative pressure wound therapy. Therapeutic techniques using vacuum dressings and equipment to promote healing in chronic and acute wounds via both purchase and rental options.
The lot structure is as follows;
Lot 1: NPWT Pumps, Rental and Pump Accessories
Lot 2: NPWT Consumables
The Authority estimates that, in the first twelve months of the Framework, the total value of purchases under it will be around £24,360,177. For the full 48-month term, the anticipated value is around £113,055,580 excluding VAT.. These values are approximate only and are based on the most recent historical usage information, with a forecasted level of usage. The value provided are for guidance only and are not a guarantee of business with successful Tenderers.

The following requirements will include but are not limited to: • ISO Certification: Tenderers must have ISO 9001: 2015 or BS EN ISO 13485:2016 or Medical Device Single Audit Program (MDAP) accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (or international equivalent) to cover all segments of the Tenderer's and the product's supply chain. This should include, but not be limited to, sales, manufacturing, storage and distribution ('ISO Certification'). Lot 1. NPWT Pumps, Rental and Pump Accessories
Description
This lot encompasses the provision of NPWT pumps and associated accessories intended to facilitate wound healing through the application of controlled sub-atmospheric pressure. NPWT is widely utilized to promote wound closure by secondary intention, effectively removing exudate and encouraging granulation tissue formation, which supports cell proliferation, migration, and angiogenesis. Additionally, NPWT may be employed to reduce the risk of surgical wound dehiscence in patients identified at risk.

The right to additional purchases while the contract is valid.
A Set Purchase Plan allows trusts to obtain Negative Pressure Pumps on a 'free-on-loan' basis, covering both large and portable devices without the upfront costs. This plan is an direct agreement between the Trust and the Supplier, where a specified value for the purchase of Negative Pressure Wound Therapy consumables is committed. In return, the trust receives both large and portable devices free on loan.
