Dover Harbour Board wish to appoint one (or more) partner(s) to develop and deliver long term strategies for the wider implementation of digitisation and automation with the Port of Dover.

The first stage of this is the design and build of a common check-in software platform to support a multi ferry operator environment, enabling all customer processing duties to be carried out at check-in booths for freight and tourist passengers.

This project will include an initial pilot phase in the current port environment and then rollout to a new upscaled production environment.

This contract is anticipated to commence in late Q2/early Q3 2023.

Project to include:

- Engagement and collaboration with several stakeholders to elicit design and specification

- Development of an orchestration layer

- Development of a common check-in user interface

- Integration of an ANPR sub-system for check-in automation

- Support and ongoing development/maintenance

- Hosting and related cloud services

Future digital strategies are to be determined and developed with the successful tenderer(s).
