Lot 1 – Driver and Plant Training
The scope of the service will include:
The provision of driver and plant training.
Objectives:
1. To deliver training to CPCS standards or equivalent for all new and existing candidates and register them on the appropriate scheme for the relevant plant item. Also, complete appropriate SVQ/NVQ qualifications for new and existing candidates for appropriate plant.
2. To maintain certification status for qualified plant operators (E.g. CPCS or equivalent) through renewals.
3. To develop cost effective contracting and commercial solutions for vehicle and plant training.
4. To deliver Driver and plant training to Scottish Water’s requirements across all its geographical locations.
5. To manage all training programmes in scope and report on these to Scottish Water’s Learning Services Team.
6. Agree methods of delivery and materials to complement training courses.
2.1 Additional Requirements
Additional service requirements shall be negotiated with the successful bidder or bidders, which may include but shall not be limited to:
1. Monthly Reports against Key Performance Indicators
2. Participation in Continuous Improvement Programmes with Scottish Water’s Supplier Development Function
3. Commitment to community benefits that align with Scottish Water.
