Mansfield District Council requires a sufficiently experienced and qualified Leisure Operator to undertake the management and operation of its Leisure Centres to provide services that contribute to the Authority’s wider local Strategic Outcomes as set out in its Corporate Plan - Making Mansfield: Towards 2030.

Mansfield District Council wishes to appoint a leisure operator to manage its

leisure facilities and services from 1 May 2022 for a minimum of 10 years.

Strategically, the council recognises the need to invest in health and leisure

infrastructure to meet the objectives of decreasing levels of inactivity and

improving the health and wellbeing outcomes of residents. From a financial

perspective, the council also recognises that future investment will help to

provide a long-term sustainable solution for its leisure services.
