Telemetry outstations are part of the end-to-end infrastructure that facilitates these services. They provide and edge computing capability – integrating into instrumentation and control systems, providing a “store and forward” capability for collected data, and ultimately servicing the Company’s Strategic Telemetry System (STS) within the ICC.
United Utilities has an intention to engage the market to request information on the supply and support of Telemetry Outstations, including: small, medium and large Outstations and Dedicated Pump Controllers (DPC).
