Hampshire County Council (HCC) invites applications from suitably experienced organisations who wish to tender for the Provision of Asbestos Testing, Inspection & Consultancy Services Framework.
The purpose of this Invitation to Tender is to establish a Framework Agreement whereby deployment of Asbestos Testing, Inspection & Consultancy may take place by direct award, calling-off and placing an Order for services as and when required.
Successful Contractors will carry out asbestos air monitoring, asbestos surveying and/or consultancy services as required in Hampshire County Council's property including schools, social services premises, libraries and offices.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement
Hampshire County Council (HCC) Establishment of a Framework via the Open Procedure.
A value of £500,000GBP is the estimated potential value of the Framework based on historical data and anticipated work over the life of the framework. Please note, successful consultants are not guaranteed any work under this framework agreement.
The Framework Agreement will be for a period of 4 years from the commencement date.
The Asbestos Testing and Inspection Services will be in accordance with; HSG 248, Asbestos: The analysts' guide for sampling, analysis and clearance procedures, and MDHS 264, Asbestos: The survey guide. The works will be to conduct; four stage clearance, reassurance, background, leak testing and personal monitoring, visual inspections, risk assessments and asbestos surveying, sampling and analysis of asbestos based materials. All works will be incorporated into comprehensive reports.
