two.2.4) Description of the procurement

NHSBT has a requirement to enhance the engagement with its workforce through the effective application of a “Voice of the Employee” (VoE) engagement platform.

This procurement activity is to deliver the Voice of the Employee (VoE) platform (part of the NHSBT employee life cycle). This platform shall be applied to survey, analyse, and track in real time the level of engagement of its employees. NHSBT people directorate has conducted research that has indicated that to effectively measure employee engagement, successful organisations must take a regular listening approach. This means:
- regularly connecting with colleagues to understand their views and working to regularly address issues and celebrate successes through engagement surveys.
- regularly reviewing this data as a team to agree on actions to take and regularly reviewing progress against actions;
- all of which is underpinned by a psychologically safe environment;

This allows organisations to identify areas for improvement and the impact changes make improvements as they arise.
