Scope
Description
The Council are looking to procure a contract for the supply, delivery and installation of minor adaptative works to people's homes in the Cumberland Council area, which will be delivered following an assessment of need by either Cumberland Council or North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust, or on a preventative basis.
The contract term will be for 12 months with an optional 12 month extension commencing from 19 April 2026 with a maximum total contract value of £768,000 plus VAT.

Engagement process description
Minor adaptations tender opportunity market engagement session
Cumberland Council is recommissioning its minor adaptations for people with disabilities service. The tender opportunity will be advertised in February and the contract will start on 19 April 2026. This session will help potential bidders to understand the service and our procurement approach. There will also be time to ask council officers questions about the opportunity.
