Torus is preparing bids for submission to SHDF Wave 2, with submission deadlines expected to be Spring 2022. £20m has been allocated for fabric first projects for delivery in 2023/24, with the option to start on site in Q4 2022/23 dependent on the SHDF Wave 2 timelines.
Projects are anticipated to comprise insulation, ventilation, roofing, windows, doors and solar PV on circa 700 low rise flats, houses and bungalows. Work has commenced to identify suitable properties and it is anticipated that there will be 3 projects, one each in Warrington, Liverpool and St Helens.
Torus requires a project management service to manage the projects through all stages of planning, design, procurement, delivery, handover and 12 months post-install monitoring.
