We have an exciting opportunity coming up to manage the Romany Lane Traveller Site in Kessingland from January 2023. Initially established in the early 1990s as a traveller site with temporary pitches, it now provides 24 permanent pitches, each with a hard standing, ablution block and connections to mains water, sewage and electricity. We recently commissioned a full asset review of the site and are considering plans which include refurbishing the existing pitches and a possible site extension which would be delivered under the new management agreement. The site is popular with residents and has a low turnover and vacancy rates. It is located close to local amenities.Owned by East Suffolk Council, the site has always been managed under a contract arrangement which is now up for renewal. We are therefore seeking expressions of interest at this time ahead of a formal tender process starting after April 2022.
