Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust are inviting suitably experienced and capable providers to apply for the procurement of the Provision of Community Step Down Services.

The Trust is seeking to commission an external agency to provide a supported accommodation service for individuals to ‘step down’ from acute mental health inpatient units. The provider will be located across all five North West London boroughs to ensure good accessibility, with adequate 24/7 on-site support.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust are inviting suitably experienced and capable providers to apply for the procurement of the Provision of Community Step Down Services.

Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL) is a combined trust that provides services throughout a person’s life, covering community, sexual health, mental health, offender care and addictions services in London, Milton Keynes and beyond. This includes providing mental health care to the North West London population of Brent, Harrow, Hillingdon, Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster

This service will be used by the Contracting Authority to provide Community Step Down Services for eligible patients across the geographical locations of all five North West London boroughs: Brent, Harrow, Hillingdon, Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster.

The Trust is seeking to commission an external agency to provide a supported accommodation service for individuals to ‘step down’ from acute mental health inpatient units. This Procurement Process seeks to be inclusive and will initially set to be a Contract for two years including the possibility of one extension of up to one additional year. This is subject to any restrictions placed nationally by NHS England or the Department of Health.

The expectation is for Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust to have a maximum total contract value (including any potential extensions) at approximately £3,900,000, with an annual value estimated at circa £1.56 million for the first year and £1.17 million in the second year and another £1.17 million for third year extension.
