two.1.4) Short description

North Star is looking to appoint a Contractor to undertake External repair and replacement works to properties across the North East area. The work will consist of; Front and Rear Walls, Paving (Hard standings, Concrete and Carparks), turf, topsoil, grass seed, fencing, gates, metal work etc. The Contract will be undertaken on a "Supply and Install" basis.All work and/or materials shall comply with the relevant British Standard or European equivalent. The contractor shall make all necessary arrangements to protect all aspects of the work against external elements throughout the contract.The contractor shall only use skilled and experienced operatives for the type of work. North Star requires DBS checks and safeguarding training is provide for all operatives working on site.The number of properties is indicative and not guaranteed. The quantity may vary for example due to refusals to enter, budget constraints etc.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

North Star is looking to appoint a Contractor to undertake External repair and replacement works to properties across the North East area. As part of the pre-contract discussions the successful tenderer will need to identify and name specifically the following key personnel based on who will be responsible for the programme• Project Manager / Key contact• Assistant Project Manager / second contactDue to the diversity of this contract sub-contracting will be permitted but bidders must be willing to operate an open book policy with regards to recharging and declare all uplifts up front.Further information is available via our ITT Pack It is estimated that the contract value is likely to be around £700,000 I the first year and around £500,000 in each subsequent year. The overall contract value is therefore estimated at around £2,700,000 over the full term of this contract including any extensions.
