two.1.4) Short description

Surrey County Council is seeking to appoint suitably qualified Suppliers(s) to deliver a competitive range of flexible benefits to employees. These benefits shall consist of a range of offers and discounts, available via an online portal (and if possible, through smartphone apps), to help employees save money and make their wages go further. Such offers shall include, but not be limited to: high street and online shopping discounts; healthcare, travel and gift offers; the chance to earn cashback on purchases and the ability to utilise salary sacrifice opportunities.

Lot 1 consists of three categories of discount and benefits requirements:

1. Goods & Services Benefits

Provision of a range of discounts from retailers, service and hospitality providers, including major ‘brand name’ business, in areas such as: groceries; fashion; home technology; travel, attractions and days out; utilities; gifts; theatre and cinema tickets. Employees will be able to access discounted rates via the Employee Benefits portal and pay the Supplier directly, and access savings in a variety of ways including cashback.

2. Health & Wellbeing Benefits

Provision of a range of healthcare plans, health screening plans, private/mutual medical plans, cancer insurance plans, personal accident plans. Employees will be able to access discounted rates via the Employee Benefits portal and pay the Supplier directly.

3. Salary Sacrifice Schemes

Provision of a range of salary sacrifice/tax efficient schemes, which as a minimum must include a cycle to work scheme. Employees will be able to access discounted rates via the Employee Benefits portal and pay the Supplier directly.
